ABOUT ME

Specialising in Sculpting & Model Making

I am a special effects artist with a passion for horror and practical effects, specialising in sculpting, painting, and model making. I love the process of transforming raw materials into something unsettling, strange, or lifelike. Inspired by horror cinema and creature design, my work explores texture, realism, and the physicality of practical effects. Whether sculpting prosthetics, building props, or experimenting with materials, I enjoy creating pieces that blur the line between the real and the imagined. For me, special effects are about bringing the impossible into the physical world.

What inspires me

I was born and raised in Oakland, California, until my family relocated to London when I was 14. Growing up surrounded by art—thanks to my parents and grandparents—it’s always been a part of who I am. Since I was little, I’ve had this deep need to express myself creatively, to push my talent and show people what I’m capable of.

At first, I thought I wanted to be a storybook illustrator. I loved the idea of bringing tales to life through pictures. But over time, I found myself more drawn to sculpting—there’s just something about working with my hands, shaping something real from nothing, that feels right.

My passion for sculpting really took off thanks to all the horror movies I used to watch with my dad. I’d sit there thinking, I could make that look way scarier. I wanted to take what I saw on screen and push it further—to make it visceral, believable, unforgettable. My mom’s not into horror at all, but she told me if I ever worked on a film, she’d watch every single one, just because I was part of it. That’s stuck with me - and keeps me going.
